Clarke
Aquila Clarke is a student at Medgar Evers College pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Her goal is to become an early childhood education teacher with a focus on children with special needs.
Aquila has worked for the nonprofit organizations, Read Alliance and Practice Makes Perfect, with both organizations offering one-to-one tutoring services to students in order to achieve academic excellence. She has also worked as a teacher’s assistant, babysitter, mentor, private tutor, and caregiver.
Since the age of 12, Aquila has worked with children. Actually, it’s the only type of employment she’s ever had. As a result of her experience working with children, she has learned that it’s not just a job for her, it’s a passion. She is really looking forward to working with Achieve with Chaniece and making this a successful year for everyone.
